Preview: A: Underneath the End (Synapse’s Bullet Bass remix)

Point B’s warm, downtempo masterpiece gets a sharp, strong injection of bullet-bass from Synapse, Bristol’s resident electro jedi and member of the Baselogic crew (that brought you the Bloc Weekend). James Grant has been producing for a number of years with releases on Baselogic, Colony Productions and Digital Distortions. A colleague of electro wunderkind Ed Chamberlain, his sound shows heavy influences from the blazing peak-time electro-assaults of Radioactive Man and the Advent, while infused with glitchy intricacies.

Locking the original track for ages in a dark room and feeding it nothing but sub bass and amphetamines, the new version remembers little of it’s former self and is now hungry for blood: a gritty, shark-eyed and darkly euphoric pulsing electro beast, gagging to be unleashed on dancefloors.
