A: Superluminary

Maniac beatsmith Cursor Miner steps up for his first release on Combat, a heads-down, heavy chugging acidic destroyer that’s ripped up several parties over the past few months here and abroad. Aimed at the more digitally minded DJs, this track is his first on the assault label. Already a noted maverick on Lo Recordings and Si Begg’s Noodles label and responsible for the notorious Suicide Bomber song (which really confused the pilled-up chavs, I tell thee), watch out for Carnivore, Cursor’s masterwork of stadium slaughter, which is already doing the rounds on dubplate and will make speakers scream in pain this autumn.

“The latest sonic creation from Cursor Miner is a creeping, menancing acidic trip down a dark corridor at 3am without the rosy pink glow of central heating and carpet slippers for comfort. The main drum groove is crushed, syncopated and totally hypnotic, while the bass bubbles and glides in true 303 elastic fashion through a backdrop of melodic industrialism, superluminary keeps things moving at a steady tingling pace, less bezerker than most cursor tracks, but still provides slick and atmospheric fuel for the head!” – Marc Adamo – /Product.01
